ABOUT

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Lethbridge, working with Dr. Susan Dieleman in the Department of Philosophy and the Critica Thinking + Civic Engagement Lab.
After completing my PhD at Vanderbilt University in 2022, I spent four years as a full time regular instructor in the Philosophy Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
I specialize in social and political philosophy and feminist philosophy, with competency in ethics and social epistemology. Drawing on these fields, I am most interested in questions about how identity, knowledge, and power intersect, particularly as it relates to political issues around equality and justice. My current research develops a theory of rural identity and its implications for issues of justice.
